HIGH TIDES GREAT RIDES
It’s a great day at the beach and boardwalk and this 45 1/2" W x 40 1/2" L art wall quilt celebrates the day. Overhead the sun shines brightly and a plane flies a banner inviting you to a happy hour at 5. Out in the ocean a whale breaches and seagulls circle. Waves head to shore to cool off the sunbathers and families seeking shade under colorful umbrellas. Up on the boardwalk are a variety of amusements: Ferris wheel, carousel, roller coaster and a ticket office. All are done in the raw edge fusible applique technique and there are lots of hints for quilting. Add some sparkle with heat set crystals. A fabric pack of batiks solids is available (prints not included).
